Alternative Motorsports is owned and operated by Chuck Seitsinger. You may recognize his name that's because he's been in numerous magazines featuring his race car. Chuck was born in 1970 in Oklahoma City; by the age of 16 he had already started working on vehicles for a living. Chuck went to work for Honda as a tech in 1990; attending every workshop available, he became a certified Honda Factory Trained Technician. Chuck later attained the highest level of achievement as a Honda Factory Trained Service Advisor. 2001 marked the beginning of a new chapter in Chuck's life as he started building his current race car. In 2004, Chuck was crowned NOPI XBOX Cup Champion (Pro 4 Cylinder) and the NDRA Rookie of the Year.
Chuck Seitsinger had dreams of opening his own Honda maintenance and repair facility; he felt he could perform the same quality service as the dealer at a fairer price while still using genuine Honda parts. He wanted to offer the customer an Alternative to the dealership.
Alternative Motorsports opened in August 2000 in a 720 sq. ft. building with 1 lift. It became apparent very quickly that Chuck needed more room to accommodate his rapidly growing business. He searched for a larger facility and moved into the current location at 8606 West Reno in May 2001. The new 6,000 sq. ft. facility boasts five above ground Rotary lifts, a Hunter wheel alignment machine, a Coats tire mounting and balancing machine, an in-ground Dynojet dynamometer, an A/C Recovery Refrigeration Station, and every possible tool needed to repair Hondas and Acuras.
